B Team forward Connor Stanley is heading back to Manchester to join FC United of Manchester on loan.
Stanley moves to Broadhurst Park on an initial month-long deal after ending a similar spell with Bamber Bridge where he scored in his first two appearances in the Northern Premier League.
The 20-year-old – who will still be available for Wanderers’ B team fixtures – is staying in the NPL’s Premier Division for the chance of further competitive first-team football with FC United as they look to step up their promotion challenge.
Stanley’s switch means a return to Manchester after the forward or attacking midfield player spent four years in the Academy and as a young professional at Manchester United prior to joining Wanderers in the summer.
Meanwhile, the Whites’ B team will play a friendly at FC United on Tuesday, 20 December (KO 7pm).
The fixture at Broadhurst Park will be open to supporters with pay on the gate priced adults £7, concessions £5 and U16 £2.
