The Wanderers’ squad will be out in force to support the club’s upcoming Big Bolton Carol Concert on Monday 12th December at the University of Bolton Stadium.
The Carol Concert is a world record attempt for the largest group of carol singers and manager Ian Evatt and his team will play a key part in the evening’s festivities.
From 5.30pm, the squad will hold signing sessions in both the club shop and Leasing Options Fan Zone before joining the crowds heading into the stadium to enjoy the concert between 7pm and 8pm.
The squad will take the lead for one of the carols, alongside choirs of over 1,000 primary school children and guest solo artists.
Manager Ian Evatt said: “Me and the lads are all looking forward to what is going to be a memorable evening at the University of Bolton Stadium.
"Football has a unique way of bringing so many people together, not just on the pitch, and it is so important that we all support one another in our community.
“The Carol Concert will be a real show of togetherness and we hope as many Wanderers fans as possible will pick up their free ticket and choose to be part of something very special and rewarding this Christmas."
The Big Bolton Carol Concert is being staged by Bolton Wanderers in partnership with Bolton Council and the University of Bolton.
The free event is aiming to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest collective group of carol singers by beating the current record – set in 2014 by Godswill Akpabio Unity Choir in Nigeria – of 25,272.
Wanderers are welcoming fans, local residents and visitors from far and wide to the concert, which will also raise funds for Bolton Wanderers in the Community, Urban Outreach Bolton, Backup North West, Age UK Bolton, 1 Point Northwest and The Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust via a bucket collection.
Concert goers must register online to assist with the Guinness World Record verification process.
Tickets to the concert are FREE and available here.
