Bolton Wanderers were awarded Best Club Marketing, Sponsorship or Engagement Campaign at last night’s Northwest Football Awards in Manchester.
Celebrating the region’s best and brightest in the game, the club was honoured for the 2022/23 Be Part Of It season ticket campaign.
Launched in February, the campaign drove an increase in season ticket sales of over 25% on the previous year and resulted in more than 13,000 Wanderers fans securing their seats at the University of Bolton Stadium for the entirety of the 2022/23 season.
Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer of Bolton Wanderers said: “To win this award is a proud moment for us and a demonstration of how far we have moved forward as a club in the last few years.
“I’d like to thank the fans for their overwhelmingly positive and supportive response to the Be Part of It season ticket campaign that ultimately resulted in a 25% increase in season ticket sales on the previous year, and over 2,700 additional fans in the stadium week on week.
“From the drop in prices to the real Bolton Wanderers supporters who fronted the campaign imagery, this was about the fans and for the fans – and we value each and every person who has chosen to be on this journey with us.
“I’d also like to extend my congratulations to our in-house communications and ticketing teams for delivering a standout campaign and securing this fantastic accolade.”
Half season tickets for the 2022/23 season are now available, activating from the Derby fixture that will be played at the University of Bolton Stadium on Tuesday 27th December at 3pm.
With the aim to keep prices low, and in line with season tickets, 2022/23 half season ticket prices have been reduced across the board.
With prices starting from as little as £2.08 per game for children (under 12) and £13.25 per game for adults, fans can make significant savings compared to match by match ticket prices.
