Wanderers will face neighbours Accrington Stanley in the FA Youth Cup for the second year in a row.
Stanley’s 3-2 win at Hartlepool United on Wednesday night earned them a trip to face the Whites in round two.
Wanderers beat Wythenshawe Amateurs 3-0 in their first-round tie last weekend to progress.
And Julian Darby’s side will now get the chance to try and avenge last season’s first-round exit to the Reds with a repeat of their EFL Youth Alliance win a fortnight ago.
The date and venue for the tie – which is scheduled to be played before 26 November – will be confirmed in due course.
