Lloyd Isgrove will step up his comeback with another outing in the B team on Tuesday.
Isgrove played his first senior game for nine months when he came off the bench to help the Whites draw 2-2 at Tranmere Rovers in the Papa Johns Trophy almost a fortnight ago.
The wideman has since continued in regular training with the senior squad after recovering from a heel injury which delayed his return earlier this season.
But with Wanderers traveling to Cheltenham Town on Tuesday night with a fully fit squad, Isgrove will benefit from more game time in the B team when they take on Blackpool in the Lancashire FA Senior Cup at Bamber Bridge.
The Whites’ B side, which lost 2-1 to a strong Blackpool line-up in the Central League in August, have played a couple of friendlies since their last league win over Wrexham in mid-September, including a 1-0 win over Salford City last Wednesday thanks to Gez Sithole strike.
Tuesday’s first-round county cup tie away to Blackpool kicks off at 1pm with admission free to spectators.
