The B Team will be looking for cup points when they face Lincoln City’s reserves this afternoon.
Wanderers entertain the Imps at Lostock (KO 2pm) in their second group game in the Central League Cup.
Matt Craddock’s side lost 2-1 to Huddersfield in their Group A opener but still have four games to go to try and secure a place in the knock-out stages.
The Whites will also be looking to bounce back from their Lancashire FA Senior Cup exit to Blackpool last week with a third win of their campaign.
Lincoln are also playing their second group game after losing 2-1 to Rochdale in their first fixture in the competition.
Elsewhere in Group A on Tuesday, Huddersfield go to Rotherham who play their opening game in the competition.
