Lloyd Isgrove completed 90 minutes as he moved nearer a return to League One action.
After playing for an hour on his comeback from injury in the Whites’ Papa Johns Trophy tie at Tranmere a fortnight ago, Isgrove was given a further run-out in the B team.
And although he couldn’t help Wanderers avoid an instant exit from the Lancashire FA Senior Cup, it was another valuable outing for the midfielder as he tops up his match fitness.
The damage was done for Wanderers in a poor first half at Bamber Bridge.
Owen Moffat, Alex Lankshear, Grant Ward and Brad Holmes all got on the scoresheet for the Seasiders as they led 4-0 at the break to effectively book their place in the quarter-finals.
The Whites improved in the second half, going close through Isgrove and Lamine Toure, but couldn’t reduce the deficit as Blackpool eased through.
Wanderers B: Hutchinson, Conway, Khumbeni, Toure, Yoro (Pettifer 72), Stanley, Carty (Lockett 63), Trialist (Grivosti 63), Tweedley, Isgrove, Senior.
