Bolton Wanderers are looking forward to welcoming the RLWC2021 to the University of Bolton Stadium for the England v France fixture this weekend!
For rugby league supporters visiting the University of Bolton Stadium, please find below some key information prior to your visit…
Kick-Off
England v France kicks off at 5pm. The RLWC2021 recommend supporters are seated 30 minutes prior to kick off. All turnstiles at the University of Bolton Stadium are open from 3.30pm. Our concourses are cashless and contactless payment is welcome at the kiosks.
Fan Zone
Wanderers’ Fan Zone, sponsored by Leasing Options, will be open between 12pm – 5pm on the day of the fixture and then for an hour again post-game (Saturday 22nd October).
Situated outside the West Stand near the Nat Lofthouse Statue, the 1,000 person capacity Fan Zone offers a friendly, relaxed environment to grab a bite of locally-sourced food and to enjoy a drink.
Our Fan Zone bars stock Staropramen Lager, Atlantic Pale Ale, Madri and Carling, and local casks beers are supplied by Blackedge Brewery, Horwich.
In addition, delicious local food options include Nam Ploy Thai Street Food, Sushma’Snacks India Street Food, Fratelli’s Pizza and The Cakery. Carrs Pasties are available over the counter.
The Fiji v Italy fixture will also be screened at 2.30pm on the big screen.
Bolton Stadium Hotel
The Bolton Stadium Hotel, located at the south side of the stadium, operates a 800-capacity bar serving a variety of beverages and will be open pre-match from 11am, and again post-game.
Supporters can also visit the gourmet pie station at the hotel bar which will offer a selection of pies and accompanying sides for £12.50 per person.
Parking
Bolton Wanderers operate a cashless parking system on all stadium car parks. For more information about parking please click here or refer to the extensive signage throughout the car parks.
Merchandise
Official RLWC2021 merchandise will be available on site at the Stadium both outside the BWFC Club Store and the Fan Zone.
