Wanderers’ home League One fixture against Bristol Rovers has been brought forward a day to Friday 2 December (KO 7.45pm).
The date has been changed to avoid a possible clash with an England game in the World Cup Finals.
Depending on England’s potential progress through Group B, Gareth Southgate’s side could face a last-16 tie on Saturday 3 December.
Wanderers, in conjunction with Bristol Rovers, have taken the pro-active decision now to move the game to allow supporters the best chance to plan their movements that weekend.
England’s final group game in the tournament in Qatar is not played until Tuesday 29 November, giving insufficient time to make any adjustments should Southgate’s side finish runners-up in their group and play again on 3 December.
We thank you for your support.
