The B team kicks off its Central League Cup campaign with a group game against Huddersfield Town B on Wednesday afternoon.
The Whites will be at home for the first time this season when they face the Terriers at the Lostock training ground (KO 2pm).
Matt Craddock’s side has taken three points from their opening two Central League games with the first of Conor Carty’s two goals this season earning a 1-0 win at Fleetwood Town.
The Whites now turn their attention to the league cup in the first of five successive home fixtures.
Wanderers are joined in Group A by Huddersfield, Lincoln City, Rochdale and Rotherham United with the winners of each of three groups and the best runner-up going through to the semi-finals.
Spectators are welcome but are asked not to arrive at the trainin ground before 1.45pm.
