The big night of the End of Season Awards 2022/23 is just over a fortnight away and Wanderers are delighted to confirm a new award for the Supporter of the Year.
The annual award – being introduced in conjunction with, and sponsored by, the Bolton Wanderers Supporters Trust – will go to a fan that has gone above and beyond in displaying their passion and support for the club and helping others to do likewise.
And we want you – the fans – to nominate who you feel would be a deserving first winner of the Bolton Wanderers’ Supporter of the Year award.
We are asking supporters to put forward the name of someone they think would be a fitting recipient by emailing the club at media@bwfc.co.uk
Please include the name of the supporter you are proposing with a brief description of why they would deserve the award, along with your own name and contact details.
Entries will close at 5pm on Monday, 17 April with a winner then being chosen from a panel of representatives from the Club and the Supporters Trust.
The award will then be presented to the winner as an invited guest at the End of Season Awards 2022/23 night – sponsored by Franking Sense – which is being held in the Premier Suite at the University of Bolton Stadium on Saturday, 29 April following the Whites’ final home game of the season against Fleetwood Town.
Wanderers’ Chief Executive Officer, Neil Hart, said: “We are again delighted to be working closely with the Supporters Trust to make this award to a deserving fan.
“The supporters are the lifeblood of the club and it’s only right to recognise them in this way.
“This new award will add to what promises to be a fantastic night and we look forward to sharing it with as many supporters as possible.”
Tickets for the night, which will include a full three-course meal and be attended by Chairman Sharon Brittan, Manager Ian Evatt and his full playing squad, are still available via the Commercial Team on 01204 673761 or email sales@bwfc.co.uk with full details available HERE.
Other awards to be a presented over the course of the evening will include Franking Sense Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Goal of the Season, Team Performance of the Season and Bolton Wanderers in the Community’s Champion of the Year.
