A number of the B Team squad have secured and extended loan deals to continue playing first-team football.
Half-a-dozen members of Matt Craddock’s squad are currently out on loan to gain valuable competitive experience.
Conor Carty made a first appearance for St Patrick’s Athletic in a 2-0 friendly win over Sligo Rovers on Saturday after joining the League of Ireland side ahead of their new season.
Connor Stanley has linked up with Bamber Bridge for another month’s loan and started his second stay this season at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium with a superb goal in their 1-1 Northern Premier League draw with Staybridge Celtic at the weekend.
Goalkeeper Luke Hutchinson is also at Brig and has extended his temporary stay with the Premier Division promotion challengers for a further month.
Radcliffe are also currently in the play-off places and have extended the loan of Whites’ forward Matty Grivosti until the end of the season.
Midfielder Arran Pettifer is also staying on at NPL top-flight side Atherton Collieries, while midfielder Matthew Tweedley today (Tuesday) completed a month-long loan to Lancaster City in the same division.
Meanwhile, wing-back Max Conway has extended his loan spell with National League North side Buxton until the end of the campaign.
Conway, Hutchinson, Grivosti, Pettifer and Tweedley remain eligible to play for the Wanderers’ B squad during their period of their loan spells.
In addition, defender Adam Senior is currently on loan at National League side Halifax Town and helped them to a 1-0 win at Oldham Athletic last Saturday.
