Owen Beck has ended his loan spell at Wanderers to return to parent club Liverpool.
The two clubs have mutually agreed to terminate the loan agreement to allow the 20-year-old wing-back to head back to Anfield.
Beck made nine appearances for Wanderers after joining the Whites on a temporary deal at the end of August.
His last start came against Portsmouth in the Papa Johns Trophy earlier this month when he helped Ian Evatt’s men to victory and a place in the semi-finals of the competition.
“The most important thing for Owen is that we don’t hinder his personal development and his progress,” said Wanderers’ boss Evatt.
“We feel it’s the right thing to do by him. It suits both parties but it was very much with Owen’s future in mind.
“He’s been a pleasure to work with. He’s been a fantastic young man. His attitude is first-class and I know he’ll go on to have a great career in the game.”
All at Wanderers would like to thank Owen for his contribution during his time at the University of Bolton and wish him well in his future career.
