Striker Dion Charles has been short-listed for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month prize for December.
The Wanderers’ frontman scored four times in five appearances during the month to earn his place among the candidates for the award.
His goals included a double at Shrewsbury Town, a superb late finish against Bristol Rovers to earn the Whites a point and the second goal in a 2-0 home win over Exeter City just before Christmas.
The Whites’ leading scorer has been nominated alongside Ipswich Town striker Conor Chaplin, Plymouth Argyle defender Dan Scarr and Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Cameron Dawson.
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
The winner will be announced on Friday.
