Half season ticket sales have boosted the overall 2022/23 season ticket numbers to the highest since the 2008/09 season - with the final total sold standing at 14,058.
Almost 500 half season ticket were sold prior to the 27th December deadline - the same day the club enjoyed its largest attendance in 10 years, as 25,428 filled the University of Bolton Stadium to see Wanderers take on Derby County.
Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer of Bolton Wanderers said: “We’ve been thrilled by the response to season tickets this year and to see half season ticket sales boost overall numbers to the highest in 14 years says so much about where we are as a club right now.
“We want to thank every fan who has contributed to the fantastic support we’ve received so far this season and we look forward to continuing this exciting 2022/23 journey with you all.”
In addition, as part of the half season ticket initiative, Wanderers have gifted 292 family half season tickets to 73 primary schools in the borough of Bolton. The aim is to offer the opportunity for disadvantaged families and children to attend games at the University of Bolton Stadium free of charge.
Wanderers would like to thank all schools that came forward to take up the offer and sincerely hope all those who attend future fixtures at Bolton Wanderers enjoy their visit.
