Bolton Wanderers are delighted to announce a partnership with ADI, with a stadium-wide digital transformation being undertaken ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
The enhancements will turn the Toughsheet Community Stadium into one of the most digitally advanced facilities in the EFL and provide a platform for Wanderers to enhance the matchday experience for all supporters.
With an ambition to elevate the matchday experience for fans and drive more commercial revenue streams, Wanderers’ existing scoreboard will be replaced with two new 10mm Superwide LED screens in the South East and North West corners, as well as a 360 degree mid-tier LED ribbon and a 4 sided camera-facing digiBOARD perimeter system.
Alongside the hardware, ADI will be responsible for delivering a fully remote matchday production service for Wanderers through a Live Venue Broadcast Fibre Network, working closely with the Club’s in-house media and marketing team every match day to deliver an immersive experience for supporters.
Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer of Bolton Wanderers, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with a leading digital brand within the sports industry, and this is the next step in our efforts to elevate our matchday experience for all those visiting the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
“Not only will this state-of-the-art technology improve the way in which supporters take in a Bolton Wanderers home game, this is a fantastic way for the Club to generate additional revenue through the use of advertising in collaboration with our commercial partnerships.
“For businesses based both locally and nationally, this is a perfect way to expose your brand to an active audience of 20,000+ people on a bi-weekly basis, and we’d love to work with existing and potentially new partners on this exciting step.
“I’d also like to extend our thanks to ADI for the work already undertaken ahead of the new season, as well as for their continued support as a partner of the Club moving forward.”
With over 30 years’ experience as global leaders in their field, the Lancashire firm specialise in LED screen technologies, event production and creative content services and are responsible for the introduction of similar technology to over fifty percent of Premier League clubs, and sports organisations including Formula One, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Royal Ascot.
Claire Fitzgerald-Firth, Head of Engagement and Client Services at ADI, said: “Bolton Wanderers’ investment in a venue-wide digital transformation will revolutionise the Club’s existing commercial platform.
“Having multiple in-bowl digital displays gives Bolton a powerful canvas to build out their portfolio of sponsors and commercial partners, while also boosting the matchday experience for supporters through the activation of more dynamic content across the displays.
“The Club will now also have the ability to deliver Total Stadium Takeover, which can create a unique atmosphere inside the stadia bowl adding further commercial and experiential value.”
Business Partnership packages, which include LED advertising, start from just £295+ VAT per month.
