The Priority Investment Period Is Now Open

This morning, the Wanderers Bond priority investment period opened and people who had pre-registered began to make investments based on the financial returns of the Wanderers Bond and to support the important projects that will be funded by it.

 The Wanderers Bond has been designed to enable supporters and other investors the opportunity to play their part in supporting Bolton Wanderers’ growth alongside the Ownership.

Investors who have pre-registered for exclusive access can login at www.tifosy.com/bwfc to view the investment page now.

For people who did not pre-register, it is possible to register (at the above website address) to be notified when the investment opens for public investment. As there have been more than [2,700] pre-registrations, there is expected to be significant demand for Wanderers Bonds and there is no guarantee that there will be allocation remaining after the priority investment period.

The Wanderers Bond

The Wanderers Bond will pay a fixed rate of interest over its five-year term, after which the amount invested will be repaid to the Bondholder. The key terms of the Wanderers Bond are as follows:

  • 8.5% interest per annum payable in cash on the anniversary of the Bond
  • 10% Championship Bonus payable upon the Club competing in the EFL Championship from the 24/25 season (either via promotion from League One or retaining their Championship status)
  • ISA Eligible for tax-free returns through an Innovative Finance ISA
  • Minimum investment £500 and in increments of £500 (no maximum investment)

Investor Privileges

As well as annual interest payments and the possibility of an additional Championship Bonus, a unique set of exclusive Bondholder Privileges are being offered at different investment levels.
