Bolton Wanderers are delighted to welcome Actiphons to the club as a Business Partner Gold Member.
Founded by husband-and-wife Simon and Kathryn Austerberry, Actiphons are an inspirational and developmental organisation who use the power of sport to inspire children to learn to read and write using phonics – with over 70 children’s reading books publish by Penguin.
Through various sporting games and physical activities, the Sporty Actiphons Characters teach children the various letter and sounds in the order they are taught in school, making learning fun and engaging for children of varying ages.
Actiphons will also link in with Bolton Wanderers in the Community in providing a Phonics Show for children that BWitC engage with, providing alternative learning in an entertaining way through a ‘Phonics for Fans’ initiative. Further details of this will be confirmed in due course.
Also as part of the partnership, Actiphons will see their branding displayed across matchdays with the club through the club’s in-stadia LEDs and big screen, as well as the team enjoying matchday hospitality at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
