Andreucci Back At Buxton

Ben Andreucci warm-up

B Team striker Ben Andreucci has returned to Buxton on loan for the chance of further first-team football.

Andreucci spent a successful stint with the National League North side last season, scoring four times during his stay at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium.

The 19-year-old was on the bench for Wanderers for their Carabao Cup win at Shrewsbury at the end of last month.

And after returning from injury as a substitute for the Whites’ B Team in their mid-week Central League Cup tie at Accrington Stanley, the former Leeds United youngster has now headed back to Buxton in a deal running until January.

Andreucci could feature in the Bucks' FA Cup second qualifying-round tie at home to Barwell on Saturday as he joins B Team colleagues Trevon Bryan and Charlie Hayes-Green out on loan, with the latter pair at Northern Premier League clubs Ashton United and Clitheroe, respectively.

Defender Max Conway (Crewe Alexandra), midfielder Nelson Khumbeni (Accrington Stanley) and goalkeeper Luke Hutchinson (Marine) are also currently on loan at a higher level as Wanderers look to give their young players exposure to competitive, first-team football.
