Wanderers’ B Team will provide Everton’s next opposition in their new stadium when they take part in a test event fixture.
Andy Taylor’s side will go to the Everton Stadium next Sunday, 23rd March, to face the Toffees’ under-21s in the second game to be played at the newly-built venue at Bramley-Moore Dock.
A crowd of 25,000 will be at the game (KO 2pm) with all tickets sold out to Everton supporters.
The game will be the second of a number of test events being staged by Everton which will allow the Premier League club to obtain the necessary licence and safety certificates to operate the stadium at its full capacity of 52,888 when it officially opens ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

It’s fitting that Wanderers are one of the first to receive an invitation to play at Everton’s new home to continue a rich history between the two clubs.
In September 1892 the Whites were the first visiting team to play at Goodison Park, which Everton will leave at the end of this season, and the Merseysiders then played the first competitive fixture at Wanderers when the Whites moved from Burnden Park to their current home at the Toughsheet Community Stadium in 1997.
As well as a landmark occasion for the young Whites, next Sunday’s exercise is also likely to provide returning first-team players Ricardo Almeida Santos, Kyle Dempsey and on-loan striker Kion Etete with the chance to gain valuable game-time in their quest to return for the run-in to Wanderers’ play-off challenge.
