The B Team have added a trip to neighbours Atherton Collieries to their pre-season schedule.
The young Whites will face the Northern Premier League outfit at their Skuna Stadium home on Saturday, 3rd August (KO 3pm).
The annual fixture is a third pre-season friendly confirmed for Andy Taylor’s squad.
The B Team is already pencilled in to face Stoke City’s U21s at their Clayton Wood training ground on Tuesday, 6th August (KO 1pm).
And Wanderers will face further non-league opposition in a trip to Cumbria to take on Collieries’ NPL top-flight rivals Workington Town on Tuesday, 30th July (KO 7.30pm).
The B Team squad reports back for pre-season training on Friday to begin preparations for a third season as the club’s development and pathway team for young players looking to bridge the gap between Academy and first-team football.
