Over 600 people have already signed to take on the Bolton Community 10k run – and there is still time to get involved!
Working in partnership with Bolton Wanderers FC, Bolton Council, Bolton CVS and Burnden Road Runners, the club's official charity, Bolton Wanderers in the Community, are the organisers of the new run which takes place on Sunday 28th April.
The event will see runners start and finish the run at the Toughsheet Community Stadium to support a total of 27 local charities.
The run is open to all abilities and there are discounted charity places available too. Runners will start at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, travel up De Havilland Way, where they will merge onto Chorley New Road heading towards Bolton, before returning up Chorley New Road to finish at the stadium. The route is chip timed and a closed road route.
Sponsorship packages are also available for £500 (+VAT).
