Episodes Three and Four of Born To Be A Wanderer were recently released exclusively onto Wanderers TV.
Following the release of Episodes One and Two in 2021 - which charted the Club’s bid for automatic promotion from Sky Bet League Two under Ian Evatt’s stewardship – these subsequent episodes track Wanderers’ journey between the monumental months of January 2023 and May 2023.
Named ‘The Rebuild’, Episode Three follows Ian Evatt’s now established top six League One team as a wave of new recruits join the ranks during the January 2023 transfer window and the players enter a charged semi-final trophy fixture at the home of Accrington Stanley, playing for a place in a Wembley final.
Away from the pitch, Chairman Sharon Brittan gives exclusive insight into the unique personal experience of owning Bolton Wanderers, and Club staff, led by Chief Executive Officer Neil Hart, continue the operational, commercial and financial rebuild of a club still only a few short years on from administration.
‘Episode Four: Perfect Day’ captures Wanderers’ unforgettable trip to the home of football as the team take on the immense challenge of the Papa Johns Trophy Final, in front of a crowd of close to 80,000 supporters at Wembley.
And then how, just five days later, the team return to League One action as they look to cement a place in the play-offs.
With contributions from Chairman Sharon Brittan, Manager Ian Evatt, CEO Neil Hart and players including captain Ricardo Almeida Santos, Gethin Jones, Dion Charles and Victor Adeboyejo – this is an unmissable episode for Wanderers fans.
