Wanderers will kick off their Bristol Street Motors Trophy campaign with a trip to Barrow.
The Whites – winners of the competition two seasons ago – will go to Holker Street on Tuesday, 3rd September (KO 7.45pm).
Ian Evatt’s men will also face Aston Villa’s U21s and Barrow's League Two rivals Fleetwood Town in Group D of the northern section with both those fixtures at home.
Wanderers are scheduled to play Villa’s youngsters at the Toughsheet Community Stadium on Tuesday, 24th September and host Fleetwood on Tuesday, 12th November.
Supporters are advised that the game against Villa could move to an alternative date should Wanderers advance to the third round of the Carabao Cup and be drawn to play the same mid-week.
Third-round fixtures in the Carabao Cup are due to take place across two weeks, w/c 16th and 23rd September.
