Bolton Wanderers is pleased to announce Debs Parr as the club’s new official Her Game Too Club Ambassador.

Both a Wanderers and football fan of over 50 years, Debs will take on the role of ambassador to continue the strong work undertaken since the launch of the partnership with the UK-based organisation since March 2022.

Debs also runs the Bolton Fems page, a platform dedicated on showcasing the passion, dedication and love of Bolton Wanderers from female supporters of the club – emphasising her commitment to raising awareness in this area of football.

Her Game Too is a female fan-led movement that aims to foster an ethos of respect and inclusivity for women across the game, creating awareness and aiming to eradicated sexism in the football industry.

Debs will start her role as Club Ambassador immediately, helping to support the club’s ongoing initiatives and ambitions to make both Bolton Wanderers and football a game for all.

Debs Parr said: “I am honoured to become the new Ambassador at Bolton Wanderers Football Club for ‘Her Game Too’.

“It is something I am passionate about, having been a football fan for over 50 years.

“I’ve got to know many female supporters, especially during the last two years with my ‘Bolton Fems’ photography project, and I look forward to continuing to build on the great foundations put in place by my predecessor, Emily Clinton.”

Phil Mason, Chief Operating Officer of Bolton Wanderers and Chief Executive Officer of Bolton Wanderers in the Community, said: “We are delighted to officially announce Debs as our new Her Game Too ambassador.

“We have made huge strides forward since the launch of our partnership back in March 2022, including dedicating men’s first team games in previous seasons, as we continue to elevate the ethos and message of equality and inclusion within Bolton Wanderers Football Club.

“With the added introduction of Bolton Wanderers Women into club operations also this season, and the way in which they are already building magnificently for the future, will only help to promote the message within our Football Club of the role women have to play within our sport.

“I have the utmost confidence that Debs will be at the forefront of all the work we do to ensure we continue to drive forward this relationship moving forward.”

Bolton Wanderers would also like to place on record their thanks to Emily Clinton for her contribution and hard work during her time as Ambassador for Her Game Too.
