Boss Ian Evatt and midfielder Josh Sheehan have been nominated for Sky Bet League One’s January awards.
Evatt is on the four-man shortlist for the manager-of-the-month award, along with Neil Critchley of Blackpool, Darren Ferguson of Peterborough United and Leyton Orient’s Richie Wellens.
Evatt – who has won the monthly award twice so far this season – guided the Whites to three wins from their four EFL games last month during a hectic period of league and cup fixtures.
Meanwhile, Sheehan – who also topped the supporters’ vote to be named Wanderers’ player-of-the-month for January after an outstanding run of performances as the Whites' midfield fulcrum – has been nominated for the division’s player prize.
The Wales international is joined on the shortlist by Derby County striker James Collins, Leyton Orient frontman Dan Agyei and Bristol Rovers forward Chris Martin.
The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
The judging panel for the player award is made up of Goodman, Davies and EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch.
All winners will be announced this coming Friday.
