Wanderers’ boss Ian Evatt has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award for October.
Evatt guided the Whites to four wins from five fixtures in a superb run last last month to earn his place on a four-man shortlist alongside John Mousinho of Portsmouth, Darrell Clarke of Cheltenham Town and Barnsley’s Neill Collins.
Evatt’s nomination for the award reads: “Evatt’s team discovered consistency in a month in which they won four of their five games. Most impressive of all was the shared responsibility with eight different scorers accounting for their 11 goals as Wanderers moved into the top three.”
The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies with the EFL’s divisional winners being announced on Friday.
