Over 120 people gathered in the 1877 Suite at the Toughsheet Community Stadium this week for the latest Wanderers Business Club event, together with Communications Plus.
At the top of the agenda for this event was Women's football, with the topical subject discussed in the room following the integration of Bolton Wanderers Women under club operations.
With this in mind, Women's team manager Myles Smith was part of a guest panel alongside Charlotte Harpur, a football writer for The Athletic and Katie Rowson, the Technical Lead at Everton Women.
Hosted by Phil Heys, a cross-section of topics were discussed, with Myles giving behind-the-scenes insight on the club's Women's team - who currently sit top of the table with eight wins from eight - with Katie and Charlotte also offering up their personal experiences of their time spent in Women's football.
The current rise and health of the sport was also discussed at length, with businesses inside the room given the opportunity for a sixty second pitch to highlight the services they provide.
Club Chief Operations Officer and Bolton Wanderers in the Community CEO Phil Mason opened the afternoon's proceedings, before freshly made hot food was served as guests took the opportunity to network with other local businesses.
