B Team defender Charlie Hayes-Green has ended his stay with the Whites to join Halifax Town.
The 20-year-old moves to the Shay on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee.
Hayes-Green has spent much of the current campaign out on loan, initially at Clitheroe and then stepping up a division to join FC United of Manchester in the top tier of the Northern Premier League.
The central defender, who joined Wanderers on a two-year deal after leaving Liverpool in the summer of 2023, was re-called from FC United and now gets the chance to further his career at Halifax, who are challenging for a return to the EFL via a potential play-off finish in the National League.
Hayes-Green completed his switch to West Yorkshire – where he links up with on-loan Wanderers’ midfielder Dubem Eze – on non-league transfer deadline day, which also saw the Whites secure loan moves and first-team opportunities for a number of other young players from the B Team squad.

Goalkeeper Jack Dallimore (above) has joined Guiseley on loan, while defenders Sean Hogan and James Westwood will spend the rest of the season with Ashton United – both clubs pushing for a play-off place in the NPL Premier Division.
Dallimore’s first involvement with Guiseley could come today (Saturday) when the West Yorkshire-based club face Matlock Town, who last week signed fellow keeper and B Team colleague Ellis Litherland.
