Bolton Wanderers are pleased to announce that Saturday's home game against Bristol Rovers (5th April) will be our dedicated Her Game Too fixture.
Her Game Too is a female fan-led movement that aims to foster an ethos of respect and inclusivity for women across the game.
Wanderers have been partnered with the Her Game Too campaign since March 2022 and join a whole host of clubs ensuring women and girls of all ages feel confident and safe sharing their opinion about football both online and in everyday life, without fear of sexist abuse.
Wanderers have dedicated previous games to the initiative, including the home game against Stevenage last season, and look forward to continuing that tradition this weekend.
To mark Saturday's fixture, Debs Parr, the club's dedicated Her Game Too ambassador will be present in the Fan Zone along with the Bristol Rovers Her Game Too ambassador, handing out flags and badges to supporters on the day.
In addition, Bolton Wanderers Women players Erin Smith and Eva Williams will be present in a number of hospitality lounges pre-game, talking through the Women's team season, the Challenge Cup Final against Accrington Stanley and the upcoming game at the Toughsheet Community Stadium - click here to buy tickets.
In addition to this, members of Wanderers Women's U14s, U16s, U18s and our EDS college programme will take part in a lap of the pitch at half time, celebrating the pathway of Women's football to our first team squad.
We want everyone to feel welcome at Bolton Wanderers, so should you ever be subject to or witness any incidents of sexism, please report this directly to the ‘One Wanderers’ reporting system via text or WhatsApp on 07542 850 902.
You can also contact the Her Game Too team if you are interested in becoming a part of the team via email on info@hergametoo.co.uk.
