Six Wanderers have been called up by their countries for the upcoming international break at the end of March.
Goalkeeper Luke Southwood and Eoin Toal have been called up to the Northern Ireland squad. The pair will face two friendlies and will begin by hosting Switzerland in Belfast on Friday 21st March before travelling to Sweden for the game on Tuesday 25th March.
Welsh midfielder Josh Sheehan will be involved in World Cup qualifiers for Wales in Group J. Their qualifying campaign will get underway at Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday 22nd March against Kazakhstan and will then make the long trip to North Macedonia on Tuesday 25th March.
Wanderers Loanee Alex Murphy has received a call up for Republic of Ireland U21s for two friendly matches. They will take on Scotland U21s on Friday 21st March and Hungary on Monday 24th March.
Academy graduate Sam Inwood and Sonny Sharples-Ahmed have also been called to their respective international youth team.
Inwood's Northern Ireland U21s face three friendlies Ukraine (Thursday 20th March), Uzbekistan (Saturday 22nd March), and Turkmenistan (Tuesday 25th March).
Sharples-Ahmed will take part in a six day training camp in Qatar with Egypt U20s as part of their preparation for the upcoming AFCON U20 and World Cup qualifying tournament.
Wanderers’ international call-ups mean their League One fixture at home to Rotherham United scheduled for Saturday, 22nd March has been postponed. A new date will be confirmed in due course.
