bwfc women

Ahead of Bolton Wanderers Women’s opening league fixture this weekend, we are delighted to confirm the squad that will represent our women’s side in 2024/25.

Wanderers Women open up their campaign at home against Workington Town Women on Sunday afternoon (2pm kick-off), looking to kickstart their season with a positive result at the Dreams2Reality Stadium – home of Atherton Collieries.

It has been months of hard work and planning across the board since bringing the women’s team under club operations, with a number of significant moments met along the way in this incredibly exciting new era.

As part of that, the women announced their first two signings under club operations in Katie Holt and Charlotte Tyers, with Katie taking the armband as the first captain of the women’s side.

The 2024/25 fixtures were also confirmed this week, with our women's side lining up in the North West Women's Regional League for 2024/25.

As momentum continues to build and the final touches made as pre-season finishes this week, we are delighted to bring to you the squad that will take on the new campaign for Bolton Wanderers Women.

Pictured above is Bolton Wanderers Women's players, Women's manager Myles Smith and Wanderers' Chairman Sharon Brittan this week ahead of the new season.
