Jay Matete wins your vote as the Destinology Player of the Match award for his performance in Sunday's 3-0 victory over Lincoln City.

The midfielder returned to the side following suspension and played a pivotal role in all of Wanderers' three goals against the Imps.

A perfectly timed tough tackle won the ball back for Wanderers before Aaron Collins unleashed a shot in off the post from 25 yards to give Ian Evatt's men the lead in the first half.

Minutes into the second period, Matete was the beneficiary of a well worked short corner when he fired a low shot from the edge of the box and into the bottom corner via a slight deflection to put the Whites firmly in control.

Wanderers didn't take their foot off the gas there and neither did Matete, scoring his second shortly after. Some intricate one touch play in and around the Lincoln box created space for Matete to rifle an effort into the bottom left corner, putting the game beyond all doubt.

With a resounding 82% of the votes, you have voted Jay Matete as your Destinology Player of the Match.

Well played, Jay!
