Former Wanderers' defender David Wheater will be a special guest in the Lion of Vienna Suite for our Carabao Cup clash against Middlesbrough on Tuesday 29th August (KO 7.45pm).
Wheater appeared for the club over 200 times and was part of the Whites’ League One promotion winning side in 2017, scoring an impressive nine goals from central defence.
Middlesborough also have a special place in his heart having started his career with the North East side, first joining them in 1997 and appearing 140 times in Boro red.

A reminder to supporters that tickets are now on sale for our Carabao Cup second-round tie against Middlesbrough on Tuesday 29th August, 7.45pm KO.
The Whites booked their place in the second round of the Carabou Cup by beating Barrow, while Middlesbrough knocked out fellow Championship side Huddersfield Town to set up a trip to Wanderers and a repeat of the 2004 League Cup final.
Prices are set at £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s and over-65s with the lower bowl of Toughsheet Community Stadium being open.
