New Date For Televised Wrexham Game

Wanderers’ first home League One game of the season against Wrexham has been moved back a day from its original slot and selected for live broadcast.

The visit of the newly-promoted Welshmen to the Toughsheet Community Stadium will now take place on Sunday, 18th August (KO 3pm) to be shown live on Sky Sports Football.

The opening batch of EFL games selected for live screening – up to the end of September – brings one more change for the Whites.

Wanderers game at Crawley Town – and a return to his former club for Whites’ summer signing Klaidi Lolos – remains on Saturday, 28th September but will kick off at 12.30pm to be shown live on Sky Sports+

The first game of the season for Ian Evatt’s men at Leyton Orient on Saturday, 10th August had already been set as a 5.30 pm kick-off with all League One games over the opening weekend being shown live on Sky Sports platforms.

The 2024/25 season sees the launch of a new five-year broadcast deal between Sky Sports and the EFL which will see an increased number of games made available to watch live.
