Peterborough Fixture | Join Mixu Paatelainen In Hospitality

Join former Wanderer Mixu Paatelainen in hospitality this weekend, as Ian Evatt's side take on Peterborough United in our Community Day fixture.

The Finnish international played for the club between 1994 and 1997, helping Wanderers to Play-Off success in 1995 to earn promotion to the Premier League, the League Cup Final in the same year, before the First Division title in 1997 to help Wanderers back to the top flight at the first time of asking.

A much-loved figure at Wanderers, Mixu will be with us as we take on Peterborough this weekend, looking to get back to winning ways.

Mixu will be speaking in the Lion of Vienna Suite, the 1877 Suite and Club McGinlay's on Saturday, and there's still time for you to join him.

Situated in the Nat Lofthouse East Stand, sponsored by Eventura, the Lion of Vienna Suite offers a modern, sports bar feel.

This is a colourful, relaxed space where you can wear your club colours with pride or don smart-casual weekend attire to soak up the matchday atmosphere.

With plenty of standing areas as well as high-level tables, we’ll be showing live sports on TV screens and a variety of delicious food and drink options will be available to purchase on the day.

Club McGinlay’s (was the Hall of Fame Suite), situated in the Nat Lofthouse East Stand, sponsored by Eventura

Named in honour of one of Wanderers’ all-time greats, John McGinlay, Club McGinlay’s offers a relaxed and informal pre-match dining atmosphere with fantastic panoramic views of the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

Inclusive of a delicious three-course plated meal, the suite also offers direct access to cushioned balcony seating located on the halfway line.
