The B Team launches its Central League Cup campaign with a behind-closed-doors game at Stockport County Reserves this afternoon (Tuesday).
The young Whites are one of five teams in Group A of the competition.
Matt Craddock’s side will also face Huddersfield Town B and the reserve sides of Rotherham and Salford City as they look to try and reach the knockout stages.
Wanderers return to action after losing their opening Central League game against an experienced Preston North End reserve side at the end of last month.
Kick-off at Stockport is 2pm but there will be no access to supporters.
