With sales for 2023/24 Season Tickets coming to a close last weekend, we can confirm that an incredible 15,617 Wanderers fans have signed up to take their seat for this season.
This phenomenal support was more than evident as Wanderers opened up their League One campaign against Lincoln on the Saturday, with a convincing 3-0 victory in front of a crowd of over 20,000 inside the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
Initially launched in February, the Early Bird window for season tickets was extended by two days, such was the unprecedented demand from Wanderers supporters.
Compared to the same window last year, 2,288 more people chose to renew or purchase an Early Bird season ticket – an increase of 19% overall.
And the final total of season tickets sold year on year continues to rise with 14,358 sold for 2022/23 and 12,070 in 2021/22, demonstrating the magnificent support Ian Evatt’s side are continuing to receive from the stands.
Wanderers are also delighted to pass through the milestone of 50,000 Official Club Members following the launch of the scheme less than two years ago.
Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer at Bolton Wanderers, said: “To see support for the Club continuing to grow is something we are incredibly proud of, and we thank each and every fan who has chosen to become a season ticket holder or an official club member.
“And to welcome so many new, young fans to the Club has been something we are particularly delighted to see and we hope, like many, they remain Wanderers fans for a lifetime.
“This vital backing from supporters only helps our Club get stronger both on and off the field and we look forward to taking on the 2023/24 season, together.”
