Josh Sheehan’s thunderbolt at Burton has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Goal of the Month award for March.
The Wanderers’ midfielder thumped home a superb first-time strike from almost 30 yards to help the Whites to a first ever win at the Pirelli Stadium.
Sheehan’s strike is one of four goals short-listed for the March prize, along with efforts from Leyton Orient’s Jordan Brown, Chris Martin of Bristol Rovers (against Wanderers) and Davis Keillor-Dunn of Barnsley.
Selecting Sheehan's goal as one of the final four, the Sky Bet nomination reads: “If Aaron Morley’s free-kick didn’t find its target, Sheehan’s follow-up most certainly did, struck with absolute conviction and with a follow-through that he was still finishing as the ball flew in."
Fans can vote HERE for Sheehan’s goal with supporters' votes to be combined with the choices from a panel comprising Sky Sports’ EFL experts Don Goodman and David Prutton to determine the winner.
Voting closes at 5pm Monday, 14th April.
