Santos arrival Barnsley

Ricardo Almeida Santos makes his 200th appearance for Wanderers as he returns for the Boxing Day game against Barnsley.

Santos is back from a one-game ban that kept him out of last Friday night’s 0-0 draw at League One leaders Wycombe Wanderers.

The defender’s re-call is one of three changes made by manager Ian Evatt, as forward John McAtee also returns and Scott Arfield replaces suspended midfielder Jay Matete as the Whites look to move into the top six over the festive period.

Barnsley have former Wanderers' midfielder Luca Connell back as captain and joint leading scorer Adam Phillips also returns following the Tykes' 4-0 home defeat to Leyton Orient last time out.

That result left the Yorkshiremen ninth in the table but with six away wins to their credit they remain just a point behind Bolton and the play-off places.
