George Thomason’s superb strike against Mansfield Town in the Carabao Cup has been short-listed for the Goal of the Round.
The Wanderers’ midfielder curled a magnificent finish into the top corner as the Whites drew 1-1 with the Stags before advancing to round two on penalties.
Thomason’s goal is up against efforts from Brandon Khela (Birmingham City), Charlie Savage (Reading), Anfernee Dijksteel (Middlesbrough), Jack Roles (Crawley Town) and Matus Holicek (Crewe Alexandra).
