B Team goalkeeper Luke Hutchinson has joined Hyde United on an initial month’s loan.
Hutchinson, who celebrates his 21st birthday next week, joins the Northern Premier League top-flight side ahead of their home game against Worksop Town on Saturday.
The switch to Ewen Fields follows earlier loan moves to the NPL with Atherton Collieries, Bamber Bridge and Radcliffe FC for Hutchinson.
The former England youth international will get the chance to further his competitive, first-team experience with the Tigers, who are managed by ex-Wanderers’ midfielder Nicky Spooner.
Hutchinson – who has also trained regularly with the Whites’ senior keepers after coming through the club's Academy ranks – follows B Team colleague Max Conway in securing a loan move after Conway yesterday joined National League side Rochdale on loan until January.
The B Team strengthened their goalkeeping options earlier this week, with former Crewe Alexandra youngster Jack Flint joining the Whites.
