Wanderers will be ball number two in Friday's Northern Section Draw of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy Round of 16.
Ian Evatt's side progressed into the last-16 following a professional 2-0 victory over Port Vale thanks to goals from Dion Charles and Carlos Mendes Gomes.
The draw will take place live on Sky Sports News at 6:30pm on Friday 8th December, in the lead-up to Sky Sports’ coverage of the match between Coventry City and Birmingham City.
The Northern Section ball numbers are as follows:
1. Blackpool
2. Bolton Wanderers
3. Bradford City
4. Burton Albion
5. Derby County
6. Doncaster Rovers
7. Accrington Stanley or Lincoln City
8. Wigan Athletic
The Round of 16 ties will take place week commencing 8th January 2024.
