We are excited to confirm that our new Club website has launched today.
Months in the making, this is the first chapter in Wanderers’ ongoing and ambitious digital transformation that will also include the launch of a Club app, in-house streaming service and new in-stadia screens and LED system.
To access the new site, supporters don’t need to do anything differently. Simply visit bwfc.co.uk on your web or mobile browser or click through from our social media channels. Please note the new website may take up to 24 hours to update for some users.
Supporters will notice the new website has an entirely different look and feel. With the aim to create a user-friendly digital offering that enhances commercial revenue opportunities for the Club, the new site is also proudly stamped with Bolton Wanderers’ distinct identity.
Fans may spot the Lancashire red rose, the diamond shape of the stadium’s iconic floodlights, the ribbon of the Club crest and even elephants carefully included in the design elements of the site.
The Wanderers app is still in the final stages of development and will launch at a later date while Wanderers TV – the Club’s new in-house streaming and on-demand video service – will be available via the new website very soon.
All supporters who would like to access Wanderers TV will need to create an account, including those with an existing iFollow account. Initially, access to the on-demand video element of Wanderers TV will be free but this will become a subscription service towards the end of July.
At that point, for just £5 per month or £50 for the season, fans will be entitled to exclusive Wanderers’ behind the scenes and feature content, audio commentary, match highlights, full match replays and classic games. Please note this subscription will be open to domestic and international supporters but will not include live games. Match passes will need to be purchased in addition to the subscription and will continue to be available for £10 per game for eligible fixtures.
Wanderers supporters living outside the UK will be able to purchase their seasonal and monthly subscriptions that include live games on launch of Wanderers TV, with full details available then. Prices have not changed from the iFollow service and, as well as live eligible EFL games, this subscription will include exclusive Wanderers’ on-demand content.
Further details on the various Wanderers TV subscription and match pass options will be available soon.
Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer at Bolton Wanderers said: “We are thrilled to launch the new Bolton Wanderers website.
“This is a huge step forward for us as a Club and we hope supporters enjoy everything the new website has to offer. With Wanderers TV, the new app and the transformation of our stadium bowl still to come, we are working hard every day to bring the very best experience to our fanbase for the season ahead and beyond.
“Our thanks to Other Media who have worked so closely with the in-house Wanderers team here to bring this project to life and we look forward to an exciting few weeks ahead.
“Can we also thank every supporter who provided feedback via the Supporter Survey at the end of last season and, of course, the Supporters’ Trust for their valuable input.”
George Crabb, Managing Director at Other Media: “This is the sort of project that we thrive on - a digital overhaul for a Club that really wants to accelerate the fan experience and to make it the best it can be.
“The new website will give the Club so much more control over the content and by bringing in some exciting new functionality, the fans will see real improvements.
“The Club’s very own app is launching imminently and we know they understand its vital importance to the fans and how it opens up so many more opportunities.
“These are major developments and this is only just the beginning.”
In addition to a new look website, we are also bringing supporters a new single sign-on (SSO) feature called the Wanderers Account.
SSO will allow supporters to access all Bolton Wanderers services through one account and one password including the new website, retail, tickets and subscriptions and passes to Wanderers TV. Please note the purchasing of retail from bwfcdirect.co.uk and and tickets from eticketing.co.uk/bwfc will be added to the single sign on soon.
With just one account linked to all-things Bolton Wanderers, supporters will enjoy a more streamlined experience when purchasing from the Club.

We are aware these are lots of changes and not all features are up and running yet – it’s still a work in progress and we will continue to tweak and change the new website in the coming weeks and months. This is new to us and new to you, so please do work with us on these enhancements.
Your valuable feedback from the Supporter Survey launched earlier in the year has informed lots of elements of the design and offer of the new website, but we want to continue to hear from you.
If you have any feedback on launch of the new website, the new app or Wanderers TV, or if there’s anything we’ve missed, don’t hesitate to contact us at media@bwfc.co.uk.
