Are you passionate about Bolton Wanderers and want to play a part in enhancing our fan experience at the Toughsheet Community Stadium at home games? Then we need you!
As detailed in the club’s 2024/25 Fan Engagement Plan - which can be found here – Wanderers are delighted to be introducing Matchday Ambassadors roles for home matchdays, in partnership with the Bolton Wanderers Supporters’ Trust.
This voluntary role will become vital to supporters in and around the Toughsheet, acting as a friendly and welcoming point of contact; helping both home and away fans with any questions or queries they may have.
Our Matchday Ambassadors will also assist supporters across a number of touchpoints, including approaching & entering the stadium, in finding the correct turnstile, as well as offering directions to places such as the Ticket Office and Club Shop, Leasing Options Fan Zone, the Wellbeing Hub, Bolton Stadium Hotel – plus so much more.
Ambassadors will use their knowledge of the local area surrounding the ground to offer help to fans looking for local amenities available for them.
Phil Mason, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Bolton Wanderers in the Community, said: “As a club, we are always looking at ways in which we can further enhance our matchday experience - for all supporters - and the introduction of Matchday Ambassadors is that next step.
“Having a number of devoted and knowledgeable supporters on hand to assist with all queries relating to BWFC matchdays, helping to create a safe, positive and friendly environment for all visitors will undoubtedly improve the way in which we operate and help to ensure the smooth running of home games.
“We made a commitment as part of our Fan Engagement plan to build on the great work already achieved, and we believe this - with special thanks to the Bolton Wanderers’ Supporters Trust for their continued collaboration - to be a vital step in ensuring our matchday experience continues to evolve and move forward.”
