Bolton Wanderers are pleased to confirm that match commentary for Wanderers TV for the 2023/24 season will be provided by the Club, in partnership with Bolton FM.

Broadcaster and writer Derek Clark moves across from Bolton FM to become the lead commentator for Wanderers TV and will, over the course of the season, be joined by co-commentators including former Wanderers’ players, in partnership with the Bolton Wanderers Former Players’ Association.

The Club will carry on working in close partnership with Bolton FM and commentary for Wanderers’ fixtures will continue to be broadcast across the station.

Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer at Bolton Wanderers said: “We are delighted to continue our valued partnership with Bolton FM and to secure the services of Derek for Wanderers TV.

“As proud advocates of local radio and our community, we are delighted to build on our relationship with the talented team at the station and to work together to enhance the experience for supporters.

“I’d like to thank not only Derek but Bolton FM’s Chairman Andrew Dickson and General Manager Keith Harris for their ongoing support, and for being great champions of Bolton Wanderers.”

Andrew Dickson, Chairman of Bolton FM said: “Bolton FM are thrilled to be the chosen partners once again to be working so closely with the Wanderers on the commentary for all Wanderers matches, both home and away.

“I would like to place on record our thanks to Neil Hart and Siobhan Chaplow who have given us lots of their time in order to establish this partnership and understand the value of Bolton FM to our town. This is local partnership working at its best.”

Derek will provide the commentary for this evening’s match against Everton (KO 7.45pm), with the audio streamed across Bolton FM and over the live stream of the game.

Match passes for tonight’s friendly are available to purchase via Wanderers TV for £8.99 here.
