Whites' Pair Add To International Calls

Gethin Jones Australia action

Josh Sheehan and Gethin Jones have been called up by their countries for fixtures in June.

The Wanderers’ duo joins team-mates Dion Charles and Eoin Toal on international duty before the Whites return for pre-season training at the end of next month.

Midfield man and Wanderers’ player of the year Sheehan has been named in a 25-man Wales’ squad for friendlies against Gibraltar and Euro 2024 finalists Slovakia.

Rob Page’s side, which lost in the play-offs for a place at the Euro finals in Germany, plays Gibraltar in Portugal on Thursday, 6th June before travelling to face in Slovakia on Sunday, 9th June.

Meanwhile, Whites’ defender and vice-captain Jones is included in Australia’s squad for World Cup 2026 Asian qualifiers against Bangladesh and Palestine.
