With over 23,500 supporters having secured their place at the Toughsheet Community Stadium for Saturday afternoon’s game against Wigan Athletic, we are guaranteed a fantastic atmosphere.
Once again, your backing will be crucial to the team as we look to secure a derby win and another home success.
We want the day to go smoothly on and off the pitch, so would like to remind supporters about the need for responsible behaviour and to reiterate the importance of making our ground a safe and inclusive environment for all attending the match.
As at any Bolton Wanderers’ fixture, discriminatory behaviour, including the use of homophobic, racist or religious language, will not be tolerated.
Entering the pitch without permission, drug use, and carrying or using smoke bombs or pyrotechnics are also punishable offences which will attract severe consequences. All have no place in football, or anywhere.
Extra security measures will be in place to ensure the safety and smooth running of Saturday's fixture, including enhanced security practices implemented on entry into the stadium prior to kick-off (12.30pm).
We understand fully that these behaviours are not representative of the majority of Wanderers' supporters, who we know will support the team in a positive and passionate manner.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Toughsheet Community Stadium and thank you - as always - for your magnificent support.
