Women | Atherton LR Fixture Reversed To Behind Closed Door Game

We can confirm that Sunday's fixture away against Atherton LR has been postponed, with the fixture now reversed to a behind-closed-doors fixture this afternoon (kick-off 3pm).

Wanderers Women were due to travel to the SafeGasUK Stadium on Sunday 8th December, looking to record their 10th consecutive league win.

However, due to Storm Darragh having an effect on fixtures throughout the country all weekend - across both the men's and women's game - the conditions at LR meant the game would not take place this afternoon.

Therefore, the match will now be reversed and take place in a behind-closed doors fixture, with Wanderers - as well as LR - wanting the game to go ahead with Myles Smith's side faced with a number of postponements already in recent weeks.

Live match updates will take place from kick-off at 3pm, as usual, across Bolton Wanderers Women's official social media channels. These can be found on Facebook, X and Instagram
