Women's Preview | Radcliffe FC v Wanderers

Bolton Wanderers Women return to action this weekend when taking on Radcliffe FC Women away from home.

Myles Smith's side head into this fixture in confident mood following their 9-0 victory over Hindley Juniors Women last time out, with goals for Jess Lightfoot (4), Milla Hodson (2), Katie Holt, Eboni Bradshaw and Maisy Mitchell.

Buoyed by the latest addition of the highly-sought forward in Neishai Gordon, who Wanderers fought off fierce competition to secure her signature, they will be looking to make it eight straight victories in the league on Sunday afternoon.

Faye Knox, also a new signing into the group, is edging closer to her Wanderers' debut after putting in the work on the training field - with both no doubt adding further quality in forward areas for the Whites.

Wanderers, who sit top of the table with a perfect record of seven wins from seven, will now have to deal with the pressure and expectation of teams wanting to knock them off their perch. Myles Smith, Wanderers Women manager, spoke about this in his pre-match preview, which can be watched in full on Wanderers TV by clicking here

But Sunday's opponents are a side that can cause any team problems at this level, and with five wins from their opening eight fixtures, have all the tools to provide Wanderers with problems on Sunday.

Sat 5th place in the table, a new manager in place and victory in their last outing away at Blackpool Girls and Ladies with an impressive 3-2 win, Radcliffe will provide a stern test for Wanderers this weekend.

Kick-off on Sunday is at 2pm at the Neuven Stadium in Radcliffe. Entry is free for Wanderers supporters wanting to make the trip, with the bar open for refreshments this weekend.

The postcode for the stadium is M26 3PE.
